Trail Work At This Saturday at 9 AM!

Please join us to help repair trail damage to Lander's rad, beginner-friendly Flowin' Johnny Trail this Saturday at 9 AM! We'll be fixing wheel-grabbing ruts and making sure this family-friendly trail is ready to go for the season. This does NOT mean that Johnny Behind the Rocks is ready to ride! The BLM still has the trail system closed to prevent trail damage, as most trails are still muddy. We are able to work on this sunny, gravel trail with authorization from the BLM's Lander Field Office.

After the trail work, please join us in the parking lot for beverages, bites, and good company.

Thank you!

John Westenhoff

May 4th, Flowin’ Johnny @ JBR with Colin Cikoski, LCC Trails Committee Member

Hello ladies and gents, droids and mawgs, Drudians and...Spaceballs!

Please join us this May the Schwartz, er, Fourth at 5:30 pm at JBR to do what the Lander Cycling Club does best...merchandising!  Er, I mean, make awesome trials awesomer!  We're gonna tackle the washouts on the sunny side of Flowin' Johnny.  The club will provide the tools, although if anyone can bring an extra wheelbarrow that we can borrow that could be really helpful!  In honor of May the Schwartz, we'll also have Pizza the Hutt, Lone Starr beer, and Dark Helmet cookies as treats for our volunteers.  The weather is looking good right now, even a little cooler and cloudy which could be really nice.  Still, be sure to bring water, as well as gloves, good closed-toe shoes, and your preferred sun-blocking solution.  Looking forward to seeing you all, and may the Schwartz be with you! - Colin

May 21st, Dirt Church @ JBR with Colin Cikoski, LCC Trails Committee Member

"Dear congregants,

Please join us at JBR at 9 am on Sunday, May 21, for Dirt Church trail work, where we will endeavor to guide our lost brethren to salvation (and gnar) with rad new trail signage!  Trail work will go on until about 2 or 3 in the afternoon, please bring water, work gloves, and sunscreen (and if you can lend a posthole digger and/or wireless drill, we'd really appreciate it!).  Congregants will be treated to snacks, unleavened bread (with cheese...quesadillas!), and spiritual drink for their penance.  Hope to see you there!"
