August Meeting

Please come out tomorrow (8/12) at 7pm for the monthly Cycling Club meeting in the backroom of the Cowfish. We will be giving an update on the trail work up Sinks Canyon, a synopsis of the equestrian and BLM meeting, chatting about the Jurassic Classic, and we may even have a special guest (fingers crossed). I will, as always, try to keep it short and sweet.

Jurassic Classic planning/volunteer meeting

Planning for the 3rd Annual Jurassic Classic has begun and we need your help to make it a successful event!

Please meet at the Lander Library on Monday 7/28 at 6:30 pm in the Little Theater to help plan this years event.

We are not looking for anyone to make a massive time commitment, just take on a small job or two like putting up posters, organizing SWAG bags, flagging the race course, etc. We have jobs to accomplish before the race so even if you are racing (registration is open now!) please consider coming to Monday’s meeting. This is a community event so anyone and everyone is welcome.

Ride of Silence / May Meeting

Please join us on Wednesday 5/21 at 6:30 pm for the Ride of Silence. This nationwide ride honors cyclists who have been injured or killed on public roadways. We will meet at The Bike Mill, at 6:30 pm, ride silently for approximately for 1 hour and then convene at the back room of the Cowfish for our May meeting. We will be discussing the FART and other LCC goodies at the meeting to please try and make it. We had an awesome turn out for the Ride of Silence last year so lets show even more support this year. Helmets are mandatory.
