Lander Cycling Club. Sharing the Joy of Cycling with the community since 2008.

Beginner or advanced, backyard to backcountry, we want to make it easier for you to get out and ride your bike.

The Lander Cycling Club works collectively to expand diverse cycling opportunities for riders of all ages and abilities. Join us!

  • THE NEXT GENERATION

Learning to ride a bike is a step towards independence and increased confidence. We believe that everyone should have that opportunity.

  • WE BUILD TRAILS FOR EVERYONE

Trails take time. Our membership provides important support through sustained donations and valuable hours of volunteerism.

  • WE WORK TOGETHER

As a club, we believe in diversity and inclusion— and we’re not just talking about bikes. We strive to provide opportunities for every kind of riding and every kind of rider.

What We Do

  • MEMBERSHIP

Become part of our community. We’ve been building trails by hand for almost two decades. We log over 1,400 hours of volunteer service annually and we’re not done.

  • TRAILS

We partner with the USFS, BLM, State Parks, Game and Fish, and the City of Lander to help build, protect, and maintain our trails.

  • FAT BIKE

We groom winter trails for multi-use recreation in Sinks Canyon and Willow Creek with support from the USFS. In 2023, our volunteer crew groomed over 1,800 miles of trails for skiers and bikers.

  • THE ROLL & SLIDE POKER RIDE

A celebration of winter recreation! Fat Bike, Ski, Snow Shoe in Sinks Canyon during the day, dance at the Lander Bar afterparty! Lander Presents, Lander Nordic Ski Association and LCC work hard all year to make Lander a playground with a playlist.

  • JURASSIC CLASSIC MTB Festival

We love bikes. A lot. We also like games, music, good food, bike clinics, group shuttles, kids clinics, pancakes, beer, art, prizes and we also like giving our trails some loving care. All ages, all abilities, all the riding a body can handle in three days of epic locations. Let the locals show you their favorites.

  • WYO131 GRAVEL RACE

Held annually the second weekend in September, the WYO131 is a gritty underdog favorite. This Gravel Grinder has been called a “Suffer Fest”. Race it, ride it, or tour it! The event offers 40-mile, 70-mile, and 131-mile courses for all abilities. Routes weave through hoodoos, the high desert, historic mining towns, and subalpine terrain for the ultimate Wyoming cycling experience.
