oUR LOCAL TRAILS

Built and maintained by hand, and in partnership with the BLM, US Forest Service, Wyoming State Parks, Wyoming Game & Fish, Fremont County, and the City of Lander. Check out our local favorites below!

The BUS LOOP

A LOCAL FAVORITE! Located just 3 miles outside of town. If you’re out there, we’ll definitely see you there! We’re building community one trail at a time. Best in the Spring and Fall seasons. Watch out for rattlesnakes, and be kind to all trail users!

Yield, use your bell, be aware, and leave no trace.

Johnny Behind the Rocks (JBR)

We’ve been working on building this trail system by hand, in partnership with the BLM for two decades! No wonder they list it in their “Top 20 MTB Sites.” Best in the Spring and Fall seasons, early morning and evenings throughout the summer. Bring water and snacks. If this trail system is muddy… be wary. Simply put, if you make tracks, head back!

Sinks Canyon/Upper & Lower Brewers

You know how your parents aren’t supposed to have a favorite child? Yeah, we know. We love all of our trails equally but… Sinks Canyon State Park and Upper and Lower Brewers are not to be missed! Lake views? Yes. Aggressive moose? Maybe. There’s nothing more LANDER than this spectacular canyon.

Plus, NEW SUNNYSIDE TRAIL COMING SOON!! Fall of 2024. Thank you to Wyoming Game and Fish, and Sinks Canyon State Park for working with us to build an accessible, beginner trail connecting existing assets in the park.

Alpine SCIence center

Located at the mouth of Sinks Canyon, this 130 acre college campus is a TRAIL LABORATORY. We’ll let you have a moment with that thought. Open to the public, but please, recreate with care.

We love a good trail work day - winter or summer. That feeling at the end of the day when you’re all sweaty and covered in dirt. We’re here for it, and you can join us anytime! We always have projects, new trails, and secret places that we dream about all winter-long.

Trust us, your help matters. Come dig it!
